looks like you found yourself a trail leading to a bedding area.

Yep. The bedding area is about 600 yards away except for the day when a dozen cows/calfs decided to bed down right in front of the camera for 8 hours (that took up about 250 pictures!).Caught that same lone wolf a couple of different times.
