Trajectory Question

I'm shooting a 348gr. Blackbelt With 100gr. of 777
At 100yds I am +2.5in.
Question is, should I be higher than that at 50 yds, or closer to dead on at 50yds. What do you think?
Thanks.

Henry: Do you have a scope on the rifle? If so, and you have the proper distance center to center from the center of the bore to the center of the scope then you would be high at 50 yards. If you don't have a scope, and are using open sights or anything except a scope, you would also be high at 50 yards.

LAST EDITED ON Oct-17-02 AT 06:30AM (MST)[p]Bluelk, I am using a peep sight.
It seems I am zeroed in at 50 and a couple inches high at 100. Is it possible I am still rising after 50yds?
Should I shoot it out of a gun vise and take the human factor out and compare? Thanks.

Henry: Yeah, I think that's what I would do. You definitely could still be rising at 50 yards with the powder charge you're using.
