Anyone have any info on this unit, advice? Densities, trophy potential? General areas to look, pm me with anything you don't want to share on the open market. Not looking for honey holes. Going up to Gibbonsville the last week of the season. How are the wolves?

Every unit in central Idaho holds mature bucks. Finding them won't be easy, and deer densities are likely much lower than you're anticipating. You could get lucky and shoot a nice buck on the first morning of your hunt. But in reality, if you want to be successful on mature mule deer in OTC units, you need to pick a unit and hunt it consistently to learn where the mature deer might live. We aren't in the 80ss or 90s anymore, and it takes significant boot leather to put a mature buck down in OTC units in Idaho
