Thanks...Honestly, if they are going to take anything it will probably be the water and food in your ice chest...Most of them don't want to be caught and try to avoid trucks, camps, etc...But regaurdless We always try and camp close to the road where BP goes by fairly often....doesn't make for the greatest outdoor experience and we have to wake up earlier to get to our spots...but knock on wood we have never had a problem...I am more concerned about stubbling upon a group of mules and their drugs while hunting...So I try my best to avoid that situation...Those guys have their route/trails and move at night and shade up in the day...I try to stay out of the bottoms of canyons and avoid hiking through the thick stuff where they may be hiding out...My gun is ALWAYS by my side!
I had that Oct hunt the last two years...most likely be warm and lots of weekend hunters...you will pretty much have the place to yourself after monday...I would rather hunt the last three day than the first three...let us know how your scouting trip goes
