Unit 38 Type 9

Looking at Unit 38 Type 9 hunt for 2016. Anyone hunt that Un it lately that can give some advice.

This can be a fantastic archery hunt. There are a LOT of roads in this unit so getting away can be difficult. You won't need to do a spike camp as most hunts are day hikes. Look to mid September for the rut to start up. Also, if you can draw a general deer tag, you will run across some decent deer.

It's the preferred unit for Bowsite members. They drew almost all the type 9 tags in 2013. Might ask over there.
