Unit 48 antelope?

Hey guys, I am putting my son in the draw for a tag in 48. I have the blm maps, looks like some pretty good public land chunks in the northern portion of the unit. Anyone hunted those areas? If so, how was the antelope numbers and the hunt in general? Any information you would be willing to give would certainly be appreciated!

Hunted doe Lopes in 48 last year, we hunted south close to hwy 80, fun hunt and we saw a lot of bucks. P.m if you like. BH1

I hunted 48 last year. Spent several days in the north half and saw very few antelope. Killed a nice buck in the southern half a few days later. here are a couple of pics. Not as much public land in the southern end but with good maps and a GPS you can find islands of public land.

Here is my area 48 buck from last year. This was on private but there is public ground around just south of Alcova. It seems everywhere you go in WY there's goats to be found. Good luck.
