I have been hunting in the Valle Vidal since the August 28 of and on. I have shot at a 5x5 that came to my cow call on thursday last week. He was 35 yards and I put the 40 pin high...I thought he was farther. OH WELL!!! That is BOWHUNTIN'!! Right? Anyway, we found a bull working a herd that will probably score in the 320-340 range. We almost stuck him on Saturday....twice. The problem here is that I have been covering miles and miles and have not seen as many elk as I thought I would see or have a chance to shoot. I have met some awesome hunters that are as fustrated as I am. So once again... VALLE VIDAL BULLS.....Where? Need weather? Maybe but ALL I HAVE TO SAY THIS UNITIS OVERRATED!!! I still have some more days next week and I HOPE that this POST will prove me wrong!!!!!
PS/ I have been hunting HARD and 2-3 miles off
the road. NOT SLACKING!!
Thanks, lionking
