wasatch early season elk

I'm considering applying for an early season Wasatch elk tag.
It seems like a lot of tags are given out for this area. Can
anybody tell me if there is over-crowding or if ones willing to
go the extra mile can they get away from other hunters. Any
PM's or replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The unit is huge! Not too hard to get away from everyone.
