I am looking to get my first elk this year and am wanting to do so on the archery hunt. I don’t care whether its a spike or cow, id just like an elk. I like the nebo and wasatch units because they are close enough to home to go out every weekend, but i have no idea where to go to get far enough away from all the public roads in those areas. I don’t need anybody’s honey holes, i am just looking for a general region in one of those units to go scout so i can have a chance at seeing an elk. I would love any advice you have!
