Just wanted to let you guys know, I bought the Nike Oregon altimeter. I had it for three years with occasional use then it stopped working. I sent it to a Nike repair facility and the said I needed to replace the unit, with a cost nearly equal to the purchase price about $100. They said I was past the two year warranty timeframe and thus had no warranty claim. At this same time Campmor was selling the same watch in a different color for $60. I made numerous calls to Nike but they could offer no better arrangement than me paying for the repairs of the watch. I have had a Timex ironman that has ran for 10 years with no problems, I expected the Nike watch to do as well or better I was wrong. Just wanted to let you guys know to look for altimeters elsewhere.
