There has been much discussion on various posts regarding "what can a non-resident do?" Well, I did what all NR's can do. I sent all of the WY G&F Commissioners an e-mail. I gave them a little background on me. Specifically, I average about 1 out-of-state trip per year, with more trips to WY than any other state. And I expressed my opinion on several items. My opinions aren't what is important for this discussion, so I won't mention them.
One of the commissioners responded, and asked how I felt about a particular proposal. At first I didn't fully understand it, but after several exchanges, I did, and shared my opinion. (I thought it was a good idea!)
Although I don't know if any of my opinions will ever get beyond just being a suggestion in a sea of suggestions, I want to thank this commissioner for taking the time to converse with me. He didn't have to do that, but took the time to do so.
Thank you to the WY G&F Commission for allowing me to have input, and thank you for listening.
Now I look forward to passing of the Joe2Kool bill...the one that allows me to purchase an elk, deer, antelope, and moose tag every year, at the cost of $10 per tag!
