Assuming the lumber is about 4"x6", it appears to be a fairly small bottle, like maybe for cologne or maybe a smallest liquor decanter.

Huge collector fan base out there. $100-200 per bottle sometimes, I think I'd research a little, post a pic on a couple websites!!

I found an old Laudanum bottle in some earthquake dirt digging here in SF a few years ago. Still had some in the bottom of the bottle sold for a grand.
