For me it is without a doubt Jim Shockey. I went to the SCI show here in Vegas a few years ago, 2 days in a row & I was highly disappointed that he wasn’t there. I’m NOT one at all that gets celebrity star struck. I would walk past MOST & never even turn my head to have a look. I enjoy his perspective of the outdoors, conservation & the cycle of life in general. I think it would be pretty cool to meet him in person & spend a little time in camp with him.
Many years ago a DU Festival in Memphis, I met Phil Robertson. He was doing a live interview for a sports talk radio station. I couldn’t believe some of the stuff that came out of his mouth. Especially today because the person he was back then was substantially different from the one we all saw on Duck Dynasty. He was a super cool guy. I bought an autographed duck call from him that day. Unfortunately, I suppose that was just one more thing that I lost in my divorce. Lol
Who is your favorite outdoor personality that you would want to meet? Sit down to BS or hunt with?
