Can you explain how your scenario works for Trump and the Republicans? He is in the White House, Promised on day one Repeal and Replace, he has majorities in both the House and Senate but let's millions of Americans watch as their health plan coverage collapses and exposes them to all the issues of being with out coverage. What will their excuse be? "Don't blame us, we were just in charge but not in control"?
By allowing it to collapse and fiddling while Rome burns after having run on Repeal and Replace with a "wonderful and Terrific plan" isn't going shield the Republicans or Trump from anything, perhaps not even pitchforks.
