Went on a short afternoon drive with my little huntin buddy to see what we could find. My boy is really starting to get into hunting so I planned on tagging out on something decent. My dad had seen a really good buck in the area that he figured was close to 80 inches but we were unable to turn him up for the last couple months. Long story short, came over a hill and seen him walking broad side. I could tell he had lots of mass and good cutters but he didn't look very tall from the side profile he was presenting. First time I have ever walked up on something and it got bigger. He is my best by far and I couldn't be happier with him.

Congrats - that buck has some serious mass!! Really a good one - if you could post up some more pics of that one sure would like to see a side view!!!

Thanks everyone! Ya my boy is hooked for sure. He wanted to go shoot some more and couldn't understand I could only shoot one. Here's a couple more views of him ready for the boil. My rifle loves Burgers so I opted for a neck shot to save meat instead of hide or I would have him shouldered.
