Wyoming Region D

My daughter has drawn a tag for region D this year after 3 years of points. We will more than likely be going the first week of October, "opening week in a couple of the units". Any words of wisdom on tactics during this time of year?

I also will be in Reg D this year for the first time. (although in Unit 78, controlled) It is very difficult to get much specific data, for sure. The Wyo Game and Fish site has a lot of good info, but the patchwork of public/private land may make buying one of the hunt programs for your phone or tablet a good idea. If I can figure out how to use one of these, I will probably buy. If guided, you needn't make anymore plans. If DIY, you have 6 individual units to hunt, and first of all, you need to decide approx where you will go, as they encompass a lot of territory.
