Does Nevada provide any youth incentive to big-game hunting? I can't find any on the NDOW website. Thanks.

Youth specific deer tags are available, ages 12-16.
Excellent draw odds, and they can hunt all three seasons, archery, muzzy, rifle.
Best tags in the state. However, they are for residents only.

There are a certain number of tags that are set aside for youth only for deer. They get to hunt archery, muzzleloader, and early rifle on most units. They can harvest a buck or a doe if they pull a youth tag. The odds are substantially better for youth than for adults applying for the same unit.

Is that what you are looking for? They are called Junior mule deer hunts in the regulations.
