    Liz Cheney Wolf Legislation

The federal and state governments don't follow or enforce some federal laws (immigration). Some states even write laws that contradict existing federal law (legalize marijuana). WY managing wolves would be no different.

    Scope ? for Western Wyoming

I dial turrets. You could get a scope with bdc reticle and still dial the turrets if needed. This way you can try both and pick whichever you prefer. I don't like the leupold cds because they may get inadvertently turned, especially if you shove the rifle in a scabbard on a horse. I know of...

    WY Unit 117 Question

The head of Jack creek usually holds a few decent bucks. I saw a group of 6 there a couple years ago and two were what I would consider shooters; around 26". I've seen a few bucks up ##### creek and Gwynn Fork also. Not a lot of deer in the unit. Plenty of grizzlies and wolves though. Cody...

    Moose RUT

RE: I drew area 21 I looked at the regulations and the divide between 22 and 21 is Riling Draw road, not Parody draw. Parody draw is east of Riling draw in 22. The boundary follows the road and then the divide between Dell creek and Shoal creek. The dividing ridge is somewhat broad in places...

    Moose RUT

RE: I drew area 21 The few I saw near Turquoise lake were average 36" bulls. Once the rut starts, there will be more moose around Parody draw. The area around Shoal falls usually has a couple moose also. If you hunt near the first of October, you should see and hear plenty of moose. While...

RE: I drew area 21 I've seen bulls off the main trail near Turquoise lake. One other place is near the border between 22 and 21 up Parody drae. A couple years ago I talked with a hunter who claims he saw a bull for a couple days in a row right off the road just inside the timber that was at...

    Wyoming mule deer management

Your family can pursue deer year after year. With fewer tags, a family of 6 will maybe draw 4 tags instead of 6. If you truly enjoy that part of the state, you will gladly help a family member hunt without hunting yourself; I would and have done so. Once Wyoming gets to manage wolves without...

I don't expect a reply. I expect them to read the email and get an idea of what hunters are thinking. By not sending an email will surely result in nothing. Sending an email may result in something. Cody www.cqheinbaugh.com

    New Mexico 45?

    solo hunt question

Your biggest concern with Colorado, if you hunt the high country, is altitude sickness. Even a mild case creates anxiety, headaches and a feeling of being totally worn-out. I've had it once and just crawling to your sleeping bag is tough, never mind heating some water for a hot meal and hot...

141/162 season has changed from October 15-31 to October 1-15 or 21 (regulations aren't out yet but opener is set for 1st) which means there will likely be no migration deer. Still has good resident deer. 119 has been in drought for 8 out of the last ten years. A 165" deer would be big...

    What pack to get

I've tried all sorts of hunting packs and none compare to my ULA Equipment pack in regards to comfort and storage. It's made in Utah and only weighs 3 pounds. Most hunting packs that carry enough for a week often weigh over 7 pounds. Too much extra weight. I can easily pack everything for a...
