Area10 - Thirty Mile Road

Hey guys, just checking in and seeing if anyone has had any success hunting the Thirty Mile road in the past in area 10 about 50 miles west of Ely,NV.

Alot of thick p.j tough to view large areas. Early season there is usually blinds on every water hole you can find. There are deer but its alot tougher to hunt that area then in some of the high country.

Lots of rigs in there during early rifle id go somewhere else if thats the tage u have. If u have archery seems like theres more deer around and lot less people expecially if u can get out during middle of week.

Do you think it 's even worth taking a look at in the Mid rifle season?

Id try and stay out but i have seen some decent 150 bucks in there but 3 rigs to every deer. But if your not looking for horns u should find something i usually go through there and not to hunt it if that helps

I have talked with other hunters that have hunted that in Bow season but you have to deal with the moo cows at the water holes!! Good luck!!
