LAST EDITED ON Sep-04-07 AT 10:11PM (MST)[p]Once again the Idaho F&G managed to sell out the 1,115 nonresident SE tags.

I hope not too many of the guys who bought the SE tag think they will have a reasonable chance at a nice buck.
Is it just me or are there others that think the F&G should not sell leftover SE tags when the buck/doe ratio is far below the 15:100 management goal?
I especially think residents should not be able to buy it as a second tag when the buck/doe ratio is below objective.
There will likely be some major changes to the Idaho deer season in 2008. If the F&G restricts the number of tags (resident and nonresidents) the SE tag area could have more than a few bucks that aren't killed the first year or two they grow antlers.
Anyway I just felt like venting. The MM forum wouldn't be the same if there wasn't someone whining
