LAST EDITED ON Feb-07-11 AT 07:30AM (MST)[p]The outfitter is Sonora Dark Horn Adventures, however this was a do it yourself hunt, non-guided. They are only going to do guided hunts next year on these ranches. As far as the eight hunters killed. I am not sure what can even be hunted in August in Mexico. I know that deer etc is not open to hunting then so I am not sure what the article was referring to as far as the people getting shot were hunting. Possibly hunting drugs. I just know that I have been down there the last four years straight and have had absolutely no problem. I guess that people should not be out in public here in the states either because if you read the paper there are plenty of killings here at home. How about Tucson for example. I am not saying that nothing is possible but then again I could actually get killed every day driving to and from work. I guess to each his own, as for me I will be back down there every time I get the chance and can afford it.
Hey Littlebighorn, the buck had been rubbing so hard that he had alot of his hair missing between his horns and he also had a large gouge on the side of his face, either from a horn or the brush. He had one small bloody spot under his hide on the brisket from fighting also.
