noticed that too, looks like he either broke it in the velvet or it just decided to knob off and quit growin. if it were close to the other g1 make spidey a 525 bull or so?? insanity!
I have held the rack in my hands and it is not broken, it just grew that left browtine kind of blunt at the end. That bull is even more impressive in person. I have some great photos but I don't have permision, yet, to post them here. I'm sure there will be plenty of them coming as Denny isn't shy about haveing it photographed.
It doesnt appear like Spidy was rutting too much. No broken antlers that I can see and the tips arent polished off. Antlers colors are all the same and uniformed. Anyone else notice that? Cant wait to see more picture fishnut, I am glad Denny isnt shy about pictures and appears to be happy to share this bull with everyone.
Probably didn't have to fight much. I know if I was a bull and saw that mess of antlers coming my way I'd Hall Ace out of there I wouldn't want to get caught up in Spidys web of destruction. Hope they got a ton of footage and make a Spider Bull DVD.
Now after seeing your pics of denny holding the rack I see there are at least 8 on the left... in the field photo I cannot see that 1st left brow at all...
Holy cow...sorry for all the multiple posts...moving too fast here... I see now he is a 9X14... MAN I cant wait to hear what that left bone scores!!!!!
The really amazing thing about this bull is that his main beams don't look really long and his inside spread isn't huge. Takes a lot of bone to overcome those weaknesses.
WOW thats getting picky and I am sure that these photos are not the kill site unless they killed it in someones yard LOL... Anyway I see your point but I am sure they are not the first or last ones to hunt without orange if they did... And I am sure we will all find out in the next video
The field pictures on doyles website has the hunter wearing camo but i'm sure he just took off his orange and then put back on his bino's for the pics. Maybe why Spidey held them off so long was because of the "safe" hunters wearing orange! Hmmm just an observation.
