Okay, this weeks buck is one we almost all see on a yearly basis. It's summer, and your scouting has produced some good bucks that seem to become nocturnal come hunting season. This fellow walks in front of your blind and the thought crosses your mind: should I shoot this buck and what does he score? Well, did you pull the trigger???
Some things to think of while scoring up this buck
1. early season, neck and body of buck will be smaller
2. Ears have less hair on them, which from a distance makes them look smaller then they they really are. This factor causes early season bucks to seem much wider then they really are.
3. Velvet, obviously makes buck appear much larger then then they really are.
4. August, september bucks have less hair on face which gives them slender look also.
SO WHAT"S YOUR GUESS?????
