I have been hunting in Northern Utah every evening this week and have seen probably 200 deer with only a handful of 2 points. The areas I have been hunting are in the 7000' elevation range. I know the doe / buck ration is bad up here but it seems it shouldnt be this dismal? Are the bucks just way higher still with the heat? In years past I have started to see the bucks mix in with the does by now but definitely not so far this year. What elevation are you guys seeing bucks at here in Utah? Are you still seeing bachelor herds or have you seen some bucks starting to mix in with the does?
