2016 Boquillas Ranch fee schedule--some of you are NOT gonna like it!

I wonder if the Arizona Game and Fish Department will do anything at all to help rectify this situation? Trouble is likely ahead. Permit numbers were already determined and published before this new Boquillas Ranch edict came out, just like the last time the Ranch pulled this trick on the...

Unit 18B First time Hunt Help

Try the area east of Anvil Rock Road and south of the powerlines (the unit boundary). Also look at Bozarth, Contreras and Behm Mesa's north and east of Bagdad. The Pine Creek area is also worth checking out. Good Luck!

    19B Javelina Suggestions

Try the portion of Unit 19B on Prescott National Forest lands east of the Williamson Valley road, starting about 15 miles south of Seligman and work all the country south to the big powerlines. There are some big limestone mesas and deep canyons that drain off to the east towards Big Chino...

    Cell Coverage 13B Strip?

In November, 2006 (not sure if there are any changes since then) I was able to get a signal from the main road on the north side of the high point on Poverty Mountain and from a spot on the bench near the Grand Gulch Mine.

Anyone familiar with AZ unit 19b for rifle deer

Much of Unit 19B has been lost to ranch closures. Possibly the best remaining area is along the west boundary from about Road 5 south to Walnut creek. Much of this is on Prescott Nat'l Forest land open to public access. There is some walk-in to make it interesting. Some decent bucks have come...

    AZ unit 10

You might want to look within 10 miles or so of the town of Williams in the southeast corner of the unit. The highest deer density in Unit 10 occur in this area. Check out Three Sisters, Hearst Mountain, Kaibab Hill and all the area nearby. There will be a good number of younger bucks...

    Arizona Unit 9

Check out Randy Bryant from Seligman (Bryant Guide and Outfitter Service). He has hunted Unit 9 very successfully in the past and is a great guy to get along with. You should also check out Don Martin from Arizona Wildlife Outfitters in Kingman. Both are great.

    unit 10

Unit 10 has many good camping and hunting areas. If you are looking to get familiar with the unit I would recommend spending each night in a different area just so you can get a look at a lot of country. You might like to camp in the Pine Canyon area north of Pica Camp in the Aubrey Cliff area...

Try the north end of unit just south of the headquarters or around Happy Camp, New Water or Deep Well. Look on a Prescott National Forest map. You can access all 4 areas off of Roads 1 and/or 2, south of the headquarters off the Williamson Valley Road. Headquarters is about 15 miles south of the...

    Traditions Muzzleloader

Thanks for the tips, guys. I settled on a Hornady 250 grain low drag sabot powered by 100 grains of Pyrodex in pellets. My first shot at game resulted a dandy Javelina boar. A fun way to hunt.
