I just purchased a pair of Swarovski EL 12x50. I did the side by side comparison and in MY opinion for what its worth the Swaros are better glass. I wanted to buy top shelf glass and did. Is it 1,500 dollars better glass. Hard to say. You get what you pay for.

OTC tags are pretty good for elk. Dont see too many deer but I hunt the eastside of the state for archery elk. Starkey, Desolation units are pretty good. Even with a blank canvass you can get into elk probably everyday you hunt.

I have one. Bought it two days ago. Ranged out to 800 yards with it so far.

I would go with the 530HCX or if you want to skimp a few bucks the 520HCX. Make sure whichever model you choose its an "HCX". If you hunt with friends try to convince them to buy one as well. You wont regret it. I orginally had a Rino 120, the newer model has a MUCH greater range and worth...

I dont think pictures alone would be enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant. Maybe the pictures if very clear, and some history of drug arrests by the guys in the pictures would get the cops over the pc hurdle. Im sure that it would be a lead to follow up on and defintely worth...

Hey I pulled one out of the Desolation Unit. It took a couple of days to figure out the elk, but once we got into them I gotter done.
