I hunted this unit hard last year(northern end). Beautiful place to be, but a tough hunt! Saw quite a few does and very few(small) bucks. Killed a big bodied mature 3x3 the last day of my hunt. Didn't have much of a rack, but he filled the freezer! The only other bigger buck I saw besides him...

I hunted second season, DIY hunt-first time in this unit. Saw 35-40 elk throughout the week, ended up harvesting a small 5x5. Filled my mulie tag on the last evening...Had a great time-made some new friends while I was there too. Can't wait to head back to Colorado.
