Figure the "odds" any way you want. Fact is Sheep and moose is never in a life time for most applying in 2024. Total apps v total tags= It took me 37 apps to draw sheep. CO gave the first 2 bull moose tags in north park in 1985 I have applied every year. There are a bunch of us at 39 apps.

Put 212 miles on a big orange plow truck last night on HWY 135 Crested Butte. I could SEE about 100 of those miles. 4 to 8 tonight with....WIND...Oh joy...im feeding the stock and going to bed.

I would hope folks do some research with 2023 tag holders and their helpers. Points should decrease greatly in the Gunnison Baison. 3 years of late season dates have done exactly what was expected.

The effect of the late season dates is real obvious now. Please check 2023 references before App dead line... to all those with high points who want to hunt the "Gunny"...I think you missed it. Please do your own research.
