Anybody know of any outfitters they would recommend for a rifle whitetail hunt?

My friends dad drew the late rifle deer hunt in unit 291 and is thinking out hiring an outfitter if possible. Does anybody know of any outfitters to recommend him?

Well after a wild wet spring and early summer how does eastern montana look? Are the deer healthy, fawn survival good, horn growth looking good? I know populations have took a hit the past couple years. Hopefully it’s looking better than it has been!

Drew the tag very unexpectedly with only 6 points. I know 121 holds some good elk but I'm not sure about these hunt dates in the unit. Its a new tag for this year and i went for it. Is it a good tag or do these new later dates make it not such a great hunt?

How is the moisture looking so far this winter? I’ve heard it’s been dry. Are the elk in decent body condition so far? Hopefully there is some decent rains later on to give them the feed they need. Been a rough couple years.

Got a hunt this November in eastern Montana. Heard some talk about EHD hitting some deer pretty hard in North Dakota and Nebraska so I’m wondering if there was a big die off in eastern Montana?
