I have hunted with mark at Ironsight hunting and fishing out of Hobbs. I have got 3 oryx on a private ranch with him the last 3 years. You also can buy a tag over the counter and tag along and hunt. I shoot a Leupold ultimate slam 3-9 on my encore. Works great with 250 grain bullets, and the dots line up out to 200 yards, I have not shot past that with my set up. The only problem I had was me, last year saw a big elk and put the wrong dot on him and shot over his back with bull fever. Oh...

No exit hole, found my bullet dimpled in the hide. I shot the bull in the scapula went through part of the heart, through the other scapula and dimpled the opp. side hide. I hope that makes sense.

I hunted over behind bobcat ranch on public for the muzz. elk season. There were some does over there, did not see a buck. If you hunt there is alot of blowdown trees, and it is hard to get around. With my hunt it also was like walking on corn flakes with the aspen half fallen. Good luck!
