Currently it has been 14 months since I dropped it off. This is also the first mount i have ever done. So not exactly sure of expectations and time frames.

I dropped a mule deer of for a shoulder mount. How long does a simple shoulder mount (slight turn to the left) take on average? And after what period of time should you become worried?

Well we gave it shot on thursday. The dog did very well for it being his first bird hunt. Those little buggers are hard to hit. We only came across 2 little groups of them and I missed all four shots I took. But, we did come away with some sore feet and legs. Thank you all for the help and advice.

I think TOGWOTEE covered a lot of it. Just looking for general info. The places here, around Salt Lake where I've been told to try have a lot of sage brush or Juniper type trees.All of the pics you see on the web look like the people are in fairly barren areas with lots of rocks. So wasn't sure...

well the place i have picked out is 7 miles in to a ridge that seperates 2 basins. I'm getting the new rampage xt for Christmas from the wife. It will be my first bow and was wondering what everybody would equip it with? Don?t have a lot of knowledge about archery hunting, so any suggestions would be great.

I would suggest a cabelas alaknak tent. I bought one this year and will never hunt in my coleman tent again. I hunted by my self this year and it took me about twenty minutes to set it up. I also bought the cabelas stove kit and it was more than enough for that tent.

I am looking for someone that is familiar with the south slope of the uintahs. I spent the day up there wandering around today trying to find a place to go elk hunting this fall, and I had a couple of questions that maybe they could help me out with.
