I shoot the Winchester 180 grain ballistic silver tip ammo they shoot the best I've found out of my Remington 700 300wsm I can shoot a 1.5 inch group at 200 yards that's good enough for me! I've been hunting units 3/301 for 16 years now! Had a bad winter kill in 2007 the deer have still not recovered from that IMO! I think the tag increase is all about the money! And something else I couldnt understand was if the herd numbers are down in these units or any units why offer doe tags...

I have been reading where deer numbers are down in the whole state especially the white river herd! Was wondering why don't the DOW take away all doe tags until the herds rebound? I would be in favor of this !was wondering what other hunters thoughts on this would be?

If I go to the pref points page mine says pending but if I go in like I was going to buy a habit stamp or license it shows that I have a 591 2014 deer license on file! Looks like I got drawn! Check it that way MT MAN!

Just google craig Colorado elk outfitters and look at there websites pics you will see the bigger elk there killing in that area! The one Mt man put on here is about like the biggest I've seen come out this area good luck!
