I'm not sure I've seen a box that does protect the lens ect. To me having my cameras stolen or messed up/with is the only issue. I've had elk, cattle, bears and people ruin cameras without a box plenty of times. If someone wants to ruin your camera they can, but they won't get it off the tree or...

5A can be hit or miss depending on where the ranch is and what time of year. I've hunted there and had lots of elk one day and none the next. Some of those ranches may have 1900 acres but is broke up land, 500 here,1000 there. That being said we killed 2 bulls out of 3 archery.

Here is how the "buddy system" works where I hunt. I'm starting to wonder if it's legal to use a rifle during archery season!

There is a marina but I think it's closed that time of year. Take some cans. There was a station not far towards Bloomfield maybe 15 miles? It's been a while

I hunted there in 08' and they were open in January. If I remember right I couldn't get ahold of them on the phone but the spots were open. Good luck!
