Carried one on a hunt last year and I have to say it felt darn good in the hands.

Has anyone on here had any success getting rid of this weed? Im planning on removing as much as I can by hand and then planting a dryland alfalfa/grass mix to hopefully out compete it. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks! ismith

Ran into this guy sunday morning 30 minutes into the season and just couldnt pass him up. Probally wouldnt score for crap but thats ok with me. Hes a nice, fat, mature buck with lots of character. Hes 22 inches wide and 22 inches tall with 16 inch G-2's. As he lay.......

I lucked out and drew a unit 27 any weapon coues deer permit and was wondering if anyone has hunted this unit and could tell me what to expect. Also, how big of a buck to I hold out for? Any info would be appreciated. Also any outfitters or guides down there worth booking with? Thanks, Irl

Finally got on the New Mexico fish and game website and found out I drew my second choice tag, unit 27 any legal sporting arm for Coues deer. Im stunned, I applied for the hardest draw areas I could find and never imagined Id draw out. ismith

Just thought it would be interesting to see how big a buck most people on here would hold out for. Personally I like to look for a buck thats at least 24 wide and a 4x4. Really not a hard and fast rule though because there are some really nice bucks that are narrower, like my fiancee's buck...
