Just curious deadibob. If you've killed a 400+ bull would you take this tag and go shoot a 380 or 390 bull? Especially a month and a half left in the hunt? Maybe that gives you some insight on our thinking.

My dad was lucky enough to draw this year's elk tag at the age of 76. He still hasn't killed his bull. He is hoping to shoot a big bull. Anybody care to be so kind as to where we may find one this late in the year?

I'm thinking of getting TC prohunter barrel and having it ported to reduce the recoil for my son. Can anyone tell me the best place to have it ported. Also has anyone ported one that could tell me how much it helped the recoil.
