I had the tag last year, very very dissapointed with the muzz hunt on the wasatch. It was like being at a city in the mountains ,tons of cow and deer hunters. Don't know why they do this on a trophy bull hunt, you will find elk but there will hunters all over, good luck on your hunt, don't pass...

Have 21 nr deer applied with buddy so it dropped me down to 15 ,I believe .more than likely won't draw with those points 66 3rd season. But who knows everything happens for a reason. Good luck everyone. Greywolf

Does anyone have pictures of bucks they have killed in unit 44 in the last few years. I know traditionally 44 is the best ,but from what I am gathering that is not a easy hunt ,weather dependent,lot of private land in winter ground. I just don't wanna be stuck hunting private property border...

I, had the whitehorse tag this year and wouldnt send anyone there. hunted hard and some days you wouldnt even see a antelope.Its not like it was a few years back ,there hurting bad. I think they should even stop the hunt in this unit for a few years .

Hope he gets a elk, looking like the hunt isn't all its cracked up to be again. I wouldn't spend the tag fee for it myself and the time . Go to Idaho, wyoming for the time and money spent and have a much better hunt. Just my 2 cents. Good luck to you and hope you score on one .

It is said when a res. cant get a general deer tag. I feel your frustration ,But you could be in cal. and get two tags every year ,wont kill anything, unless your lotto lucky. hope you score your gen. utah tag.

last year it was way late , this year I passed on it, to much stress waiting for the results, expect probly the same this year on time. They need the other lady back . She was much faster.

Think the odds are bad this year wait till next year when the season is a week later. I have done points for years and next year Iam in to win with 20. I dont know if colorado will be on my list anymore, looks to be getting hard to draw just a hunt period. To many people to many points more $$$...

I hunt with a winchester model 70 mountain rifle and have been hunting mule deer for 35 years but I am new to blacktail hunting. I live in So. Cal. and don't know much about the blacktail areas. Perhaps D-5,6 or 7 areas would be a possible choice for next year. If anyone can offer any...
