Enter to WIN Nosegunner Bino Case

This last Utah Archery season; ended up taking a mid morning nap in the pines for about 1/2 hr-45 min. We get up and about 20 yards away I see extremely fresh scat (flies, no oxidation etc) on the ground. We know there are bears, but we turn and start to go up the trail. My dad is busting brush...

Utah Non-Resident Hunter Education / Over the Counter Tags

Thanks Guys!! Not sure how I missed the verbiage regarding Non-Res and the Utah Trial Hunting Program. So am I correct in assuming that if a tag is offered "Over-the-Counter'" Non-Res can buy those as well? ?-ERock-> ?

Utah Non-Resident Hunter Education / Over the Counter Tags

I am hoping someone can help clarify for me... My Brother-In-Law is looking to learn Hunting, but is from out of state; so he is wanting to be with family here in Utah. My questions are: [font color=red]- As a Non-Resident, is **Utah** Hunter Education required for him to hunt Big Game...All...

    So this is a Bow?

I saw that and was gonna post it up...Seems pretty cool and I think it would be fun to use for Small Game/Predators and Targets, but I don't think I would want it legalized for anything other than the "Any Weapon" hunt here in Utah for Big Game. It seemed like only a matter of time before...

    backcountry pillows

I usually take a down vest with me on my Back Country hunts. My Big Agnes sleeping bag has a little "Pillow Pocket" and I use that to stuff the vest into with my shirt I will wear the next day. This gives me some warmth, loft, and keeps my shirt toasty for those cool mornings. ?-ERock-> ?

Hunting Show -"Extreme Outer Limits" = FAIL!!

There is an effective range of the Weapon and an effective range of a Hunter. More often than not, the effective range of the Weapon far exceeds that of the hunter. Am I going to sit and tell anyone what that range is for them - No, that is up to their personal ethics and capabilities. It is...

Shoes instead of boots for hunting?

I felt the GTX and 3D Soloman's had a clunky and semi heavy feel. Both are pretty much the same shoe, but I believe the GTX is the Gortex version. I initially liked the GTX (Comes in Camo) and the toe guard seemed nice and they were cozy on the feet, but after walking around with them, they felt...

Shoes instead of boots for hunting?

I have been using a Trail Running Shoe - The Adidas Kanadia - for the last 2 years and have been extremely happy. Bow / Arrow Tips - Before Going Into The Field(?)

It's obviously late and my insomnia for the night is getting the best of me - Instead of getting sleep, I am assembling some "Back-Up" Arrows and upon inspection of my "Quiver - Kill" Arrows, I discover while utilizing a Spin Test; some wobble in one of my Broadheads.
