As a taxidermist I can't complain too much, it's nice that the kids are out hunting rather than gang banging. But I do think 150 tags in that unit is way too much. I'm just a part timer and I've already taken in 8 from that hunt and 3 on their way tomorrow. All decent bucks.

I would say somewhere around 20 to 21ish at the ears would look great on that deer. The cape I have is a West Texas. You need a winter long hair cape. Check on Taxinet under for sale section. Dave from Wild west taxidermy in Montana usually has a few.

Did the Archery and Mobil impaired hunters kill all the bulls bigger than 300? Took my daughter and could not turn up a 300 plus bull in 4 days. Seen over 25 rag horns. Maybe full moon abducted them. We couldn't get into the nasty canyons as she messed up her knee a few months before the hunt...
