I would go down by Parlin and then to north. The deer move down the taylor valley that late in the season. There wont be any up high near taylor res. Ive seen one doe up near the res that late in the season in 10 years

We saw maybe 20-30 other hunters covering 15 square miles. Where we go, there isnt alot of hunters period.

How come I hardly ever see Deer in Taylor Park after September? Two years in a row we have yet to see at least one buck? If you go down into Gunnison, they are all over the place. Do they move down early every year?

Nobodies yanking your chain. The reason people go after the mountain sage muleys is their body size, and if the moisture is there, it is common to see plenty of 180+ Racks during your hunt. My 29" buck field dressed at 250 pounds. They are way more muscular and bigger than field deer.

I am a resident of CO and I didnt draw in any of the three areas that I applied for. These were all areas that usually draw without any preference points. So therefore I am the biggest loser this year, and they raised in state licenses too!!
