Yeah I get a turkey tag in KS and got a landowner tag for my in-laws place in Nebraska. Granddad has a Kansas and Nebraska tag and might shoot one in Arkansas too.

If you find a deer track, walk it out until you find the deer. A buddy had the archery hunt several years ago, saw a doe and two tracks.

You should see Nevada's depredation elk tags east of Elko. All the land owners piss and moan about elk so the state issues public draw tags. But then those same landowners won't let guys cross their property to get to said elk.

If you are willing to part with some I'd take it! I got 43 rounds of loaded ammo but it's loaded with 117 grain bullets and I don't know anything else about em. I'm gonna pull the bullets and weigh the powder for giggles but I know that bullet won't stabilize

Thought about that with my personal rifle, it's a 270 on a 700 action. But there's to many other options I could do. 257 AI with a fast twist, 270 with a 1:8.5 or faster twist, 280 AI, 7 Mauser or the AI version, and a couple others I like the looks of

It's doable, there are deer, and there are lots of people. You hunt the Raft Rivers, Pilots or around Grouse Creek and have public ground you can hunt.

Hale Charleton, Randy Lombardi, Harold Tweedle and the Barker boys. All guys from my hometown. Hale's dead, Tweedle I don't know about, Randy doesn't hunt anymore and the Barkers still kill some barn burners in areas that are hunted to death.
