LAST EDITED ON Oct-29-18 AT 04:18PM (MST)[p]Helllo, long time reader but never posted before. I am coming here to ask for some information. I was shocked to find out I drew a 12b late deer tag as a non resident. I am super excited for this hunt and look forward to spending some time in a new area with my dad and brothers. The hunt starts the day after thanksgiving. I have learned this is a migration hunt so I have not scouted yet. I'm looking to head down to the area this weekend and possibly one more weekend befor the hunt starts (6 hr plus drive one way) to start to learn the area and the roads.
The questions I have are what I should expect for road conditions and if there's anything I should be prepared for in that regard? Any areas I should avoid, just want to have an enjoyable scouting and hunting trip don't need issues with getting stuck. How?s the cell service down there? I'm also looking for a place to store my fifth wheel trailer for those few weeks before the hunt. Any advice of a good storage area around page?
This will be my first hunt in Arizona, it's been a long few months waiting since the draw results were posted!
Any help and information I can get for this will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
