Thanks for the link , that was very interesting reading . They are making lots of money on license sales and the predator management fee .

yes they are but they go into the red every year. On only one predator control program that has been going on in the East Humbolts for five years has cost 300,000.00 to the full time hunter alone. Predator control is very expensive and does no good unless done as spot control like fawn grounds or a lion working a group of wild sheep.

I like page 37. Every year, people complain that they have max points for elk or sheep and still can't draw. Turns out, there's only 57 residents left with max points for elk, and they're probably all only putting in for one early choice.

Looking at the numbers of applicants broken down by bonus points proves that Nevada's system is working, and people need to stop trying to change it. I apply in 5 or 6 states every year, and firmly believe that Nevada's system is the fairest.
