another dumb question

Thanks in advance for tolerating me. Lets say I draw a 3rd season deer tag in a unit with OTC elk tags. I fill my tag on day 1, can I then go buy a elk tag or do I need to buy the tag before the 3rd elk season starts?

Yes but I believe you need to purchase it at a cpw office. Don't hold me to that last part.

You can and I think they finally changed it where you do not need to go to a CPW office after the season starts anymore

Yes, that is a change they made this year. You can buy a tag after season starts.

Yes correct you can now buy tags anywhere they are sold after the season starts
