Spent the day playing with Antelope and dreaming of a super telephoto lens.

I really like the photos!! I too long for a sure-fire telephoto lens some day!! The best I've got now is a 70-200 2.8 and 1.4x teleconverter. I shoot a Nikon D200 but simply can't afford a 400 or 500mm lens.

the 80-400 is affordable, and i've been hearing real good things about the sigma 50-500. . .

Those are nice quality images. . .

I thought about buying the 80-400 OS Sigma but I may hold off to see what the new 150-500 Sigma produces.

Looks like John's valley. My youngest son drew a permit here last year and took a "BOONER", and my oldest son drew a permit here this year. I look forward to spending a little bit of quality time gazing at the scenery you have captured so well in your photos - in person. Thanks for sharing.

Some familiar country there elknut, what kind of equipment was used? Those are great shots.
