LAST EDITED ON Aug-27-09 AT 05:33PM (MST)[p]I gotta admit when I saw the pics I was shocked that someone would take a head shot with a bow. I've heard of it being done, just never thought of it myself.
When I see or hear of animals being killed by head shots, long distance shots etc.....it makes me think the hunter/shooter was more interested in making the kill than anything. Makes me wonder why not wait for a better shot? Why not get closer? I just had a buddy kill a buck at 80 yards, my first thought was Why? 80 yards? Why didn't you get closer? Maybe some guys are just too driven by the need to kill they don't get the whole picture.
Just my opinion.
It's not that you killed, it's how.
