We all make choices and should be happy with them in that they meet our personal needs. Your needs may include a wide buffer to account for unlikely scenarios. You are not alone, no doubt many guys stuck with paper apps because they distrust new processes, and a host of other reasons.
The odds of a bunch of people losing loyalty points for incorrectly declined credit cards is just about zero. No hunting nut is going to let that happen, period, and will show proof to rectify, To each his own, good luck in the draw.
