Baked cod, baked potato crisps, and Balsamic tomatoes

Turned out pretty good, just late because of the trip to Community Care. Was gonna be deep fried fish&chips and that idea got wrecked!! Mandolins are great little things, but they will take off a finger tip and a knuckle, if you're not careful!!

We had Shepard's Pie and Strawberry Pie with whipped cream tonite. I didn't make it the wife did. That was the best meal. Yours looked good. I made Cod a week ago. I miss my deep fryer as it works so well.

Don’t have a picture but my stupid $$/-=+(/#( took the corner of my thumb off with a mandolin About 6 weeks ago and it’s still not the same. Stupidest part was I had the guard laying right there. Short cuts lead to short thumbs

Yeah, I even started out with the slicing tool/guard but the little prongs stick out too far and were hitting the blade. I got rid of it and was only gonna use half the potato, then do another half from a second. Damn thing is sharp tho!!!
