This was many Moons ago!

The Very 1st time I ever Bowled in My Life I Bowled a 298!

People were Cheering me on like I was some kinda Pro!

JUDAS!

Did I ever Fowl that last Frame up!

F'N Near Bawled right then & there!

I had people Shakin my Hand I'd never seen in my Life!

I don't know that I've ever hit 150 Since?

Don't Bowl very Damn Often!

high score is around 150
if I break 100 though I get excited like I shot a 180 class muley :)

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?
 
Bess they were cheering you on like a pro because bowling is the only sport that drinking beer improves your game.

I am horrible. I really have no idea where the ball is gonna go when I throw it. Maybe because I bowl once every 10 years.

One of the guys that works for me has a couple of those rings for perfect games.

Bess, they were cheering you on because it was the Special Olympics where everyone is a winner and gets cheered for. You for got to mention the lane had those bumper things on filling the gutters and it was only 20 feet long.
 
Mom and Dad bowled in a league together for a few years when i was 8-9 years old. The best part and worth waiting for was the coconut cream pie afterward.

Later in High school, my Girl Friend used to get me so hot while necking, when i left her house or dropped her off, i'd go bowl a few frames to cool off. That gal like to neck, was good at it, but she always left me in bad/sad shape!

Later on, i almost married a sweetie that bowled on her Dad's league team. I sub'd a few times and we'd go on a Sat nite sometimes when there were colored pins worth money if you got them all down.

All in all, bowling is not one of my better sports. I usually could hit the 140-150's easy enough, lots of +200 scores, yet a 600 three game series was a big deal to me maybe i only did a few times. Can't remember my very best score.

Back before caller ID came about, the bowling alley was one of the best places to prank call. Do you have 10 pound blue balls?

Was a PBA member at the age of 17. I never pursued the sport after graduating college.
 
Wife has had five 300's, her brother over 70 300's and his first at age 12 but then again he was a PBA pro for over a decade. Me, I shoot things.

They are all real good. My brother in laws son has already bowled a 300 at 14 and my father in law has bowled I don't know how many as well and still is well into his seventies.

But seriously you get a 298 first time out is incredible!

How To Hunt Coues Deer
 
Rolled a 299 years ago and held high average in the men's league at 17-18 years old.... Now with my crippled ankle and knee, don't think I can break 100.
