its really not, maybe a touch high, its eyes hit about mid back. Hard to tell from the pics

Bogey:
Your taxi really nailed that cat's eyes (if a cat's eyes aren't focused correctly, nothing else will make up for the error), and the rest is very well done too! But I agree that the eyes might be focused a bit high. A cat's reflexes are so quick I tend to think this one would be looking more directly at the fisher's head and the ptarmigan. Other than that, one v-e-r-y nice mount ...
