I drew my general deer tag for sure. Is it still possible to get hit for a cwmu elk? I had 13 pts for elk and thought for sure the unit I put in for I was going to draw this year. Thoughts??

LAST EDITED ON May-16-15 AT 09:14AM (MST)[p]Yes, I talked to the guy that conducts the drawing yesterday mid day at the Nevada Wildlife Commission meeting and he said they would be getting hit for the next couple of days. I took that to mean any time between yesterday morning and Sunday/Monday?

Hey scentpost, did you by any chance find out when nevada is actually conducting they're draw? I was hoping next week, but have heard rumors that it is the week after.

I did asked them that question and they were pretty tight lipped as they should be about the Nevada draw. The Nevada Wildlife Commission is setting the big game quotas today. If they can get the quotas entered into the system and conduct the drawing by this coming Wednesday, the results would come out next Friday 5/22, if they can't get them all entered and conduct the draw this coming week, the results would then most likely come out on 5/29. When I asked them, they did not rule out the possibility of conducting the draw this coming week but it's going to be a tight schedule to get it done.

Thanks for the update. Appreciate it. I kept hearing it was gonna be a week later this year because they are setting quotas this weekend, which is a week later. Called huntnevada 2 weeks ago and got 0 info. Hope they get it done next week. Im getting anxious. Thanks again.
